Device Telemetry (Opt-in)

ESP-Claw devices may optionally send anonymous telemetry data when checking for firmware updates. This includes:

Firmware version number
ESP32 chip variant (e.g., S3, C3)
Country-level location (derived from IP, which is immediately discarded)

Telemetry is disabled by default and must be explicitly enabled by the user. No device identifiers or IP addresses are stored.

Third-Party Advertising

We may display advertisements from third-party advertising services in the future. These services may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. We use Buttondown for email delivery. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email.

Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 24 months. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. We do not retain device telemetry data beyond aggregate statistics.

We use HTTPS across our entire website. Data is stored using industry-standard security practices.

8. Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
