Configure & Flash

Configure your AI agent and flash firmware — all from the browser. No toolchain needed.

1. Configure Your Agent

Select your ESP32 board variant:

2. Flash Firmware

Connect your board via USB, select your board type, then click flash. Requires Chrome 89+ or Edge 89+.

Your browser doesn't support Web Serial API. Use Chrome 89+ or Edge 89+.

3. After Flashing

    Connect to Wi-Fi
    Join the "ESPClaw-XXXX" hotspot, configure via captive portal

    Upload Config
    Upload the config file you generated, or configure via the web UI
  3. 3
    Set Up Channel
    Enter your Telegram/Discord bot token
  4. 4
    Start Chatting
    Send a message to your bot and get a response!

Troubleshooting

Device not detected?

Use a data-capable USB cable (not charge-only). Install CP2102 or CH340 drivers.

Flash failed?

Hold the BOOT button while clicking Connect to enter download mode.

macOS permission error?

System Settings → Privacy & Security → USB → allow the serial device.

Wi-Fi hotspot not appearing?

Wait 10 seconds after flash completes. The LED should blink blue.
